How to Make Your Zoo Animal Bookmarks

Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- A pair of scissors
- Markers
- Printed pattern
Instructions:
Download and print out the pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select different colored craft papers for the safari animal bookmark patterns. The template includes patterns for lion, zebra, giraffe and elephant.
Let’s start with the lion and the zebra patterns. Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out neatly using a pair of scissors.
Glue the inner ear parts on the ear parts of the head cutouts.
Attach the head of the lion on the mane cutout.
Attach the lower part of the zebra’s face on the bottom part of the head cutout.
Attach the tail tip cutouts to the tail cutouts for both the lion and the zebra. Attach the mane cutout of the zebra on the top of the head cutout.
Take the body cutouts. Attach the leg cutouts to the body cutouts on both sides.
Only glue the leg at the edge of the body, so you can slide a page under the legs later.
Attach the tails on either side of the body for both the zebra and lion.
Attach the heads on the top edge of the bodies.
Use markers to draw the faces on to thelion and zebra.
Use markers to add the striped patterns on the zebra bookmark.
Similarly, trace, cutout and glue the patterns to make the other animal bookmarks. To use them as bookmark, simply slide a page between the legs and the body.
