How to Make a No Sew Felt Bookmark

Supplies:

  • Felt fabrics
  • Pencil
  • Hot glue (or craft glue of your choice)
  • A pair of scissors
  • Markers
  • Template

Instructions:

Download and print out the bee bookmark template.

Prepare the template patterns by cutting out the patterns.

Select colored felt fabrics for the bee bookmark.

Trace the template patterns on the selected felt fabrics and cut them out using scissors.

Take one of the bee body base cutouts and use a black permanent marker to draw the eyes and mouth of the bee. Use pink permanent marker to draw blush spots on the cheeks.

Use hot glue or your favorite craft glue to attach the strip cutouts on the body part of the base for the bees stripes. Use scissors to trim the extra edges off the attached strips.

Take the other body base cutout and glue the stinger cutout on the bottom of the body, keeping the pointy end facing out.

Glue the antenna cutouts on the top edge of the head area.

Glue the wing cutouts on both sides of the body.

Place the front bee body on the top of the second body piece, keeping the stinger, wings and the antennas between the two body pieces.

Glue the two bodies together along the edges.

Glue the felt bee on one side of the bookmark strip (you could use a piece of ribbon in place of the felt if desired).

Glue the small round cutout in the center of the flower cutout.

Glue the felt flower pattern on the other open end of the bookmark strip.

Now your bee bookmark is ready to use!
