How to Make a Beaded Cherry Bracelet
List of Supplies:
- Crystal beads
- Small round beads
- Seed beads
- Beading wire
- Lobster claw hook
- Jump ring
- Craft or jewerly pliers
Instructions:
Measure the size you’d like your bracelet and then cut out a beading wire 4 times the size of the measured bracelet.
Bend the beading wire in half.
Insert the lobster claw through one strand of the beading wire. Push the clasp all the way to the fold in the wire.
Take a small bead and insert it over both strands of the beading wire. (This will secure the lobster claw clasp.)
Insert white and gold colored beads over both strands of the wire.
**You can choose any colored beads you’d like for this step of the bracelet- but do not use red or green beads, as we’ll use the red and green beads to make the cherries and leaves later.
Continue adding these beads until the spot you’d like your first cherry. I recommend about 1 to 1.5 inches of beads between each cherry.
Add a green crystal bead, then two red crystal beads onto both strands of the wire.
To make the cherries- take the end of the two strands of wire, bend them back, then insert both ends into the back of the green bead.
Pull the wire firmly and bring the green and red beads closer to form the cluster of cherries.
Now, continue adding white and gold beads to both strands of wire.
After 1 to 1.5 inches of white and gold beads, make another cherry cluster, the same way as the previous cherries.
Continue this pattern until your bracelet reaches your desired length.
Use the pliers to make a small loop adjacent to the last bead on the wire.
Coil the open end of the wire below the loop to secure the loop.
If your lobster clasp came with a closing ring, you can add it here instead of making a loop with wire.
Cut off extra wire if necessary.
Your beautiful beaded cherry bracelet is now complete!
