How to Make a Felt Fox Corner Bookmark
List of Supplies:
- Felt fabrics
- Scissors
- Needle
- Thread
- Cotton
- Fabric marker or pencil
- Printed fox pattern template
Instructions:
Download and print out the fox corner bookmark pattern.
Select white, orange or brown, black and pink colored felt fabrics for the fox corner bookmark craft.
Trace the template patterns on the selected felt fabrics and cut them out nicely using a pair of sharp scissors.
Place the pink inner ear cutouts on the ear of the head cutout.
Prepare needle with matching pink thread.
Stitch the inner ear cutouts onto the ears.
Take the white face cutout and place the nose cutout on the bottom corner of the face.
Use a pen or marker to draw the eyes onto the fox’s face.
Prepare a needle with black thread.
Stitch the drawn eyes with the black thread.
Also stitch the nose onto with the fox’s face.
Place the white face onto the bottom edfe of the head piece.
Place the two cheek blush cutouts on either side of the white face cutout.
Prepare needle with matching pink thread and stitch the blush cutouts to the face cutout, also stitching through the head piece.
Take the other base cutout, that doesn’t have ears, and place it under the stitched fox head.
Prepare needle with orange or white thread.
Stitch around the two sides of the triangle, working flat blanket stitches around the edges.
Be sure to keep the top of the fox’s head free from stitching.
Now, you can insert the corner of a book page into the open edge of the fox’s head to use your felt craft as a corner bookmark.
