Felt Frankenstein Halloween Craft

How to make a Felt Frankenstein Craft for Halloween
List of Supplies:
- Colored felt fabrics
- Needle
- Matching threads
- Cotton
- Pencil – to trace the template
- marker or gel pen
- Template
Instructions:
Download and print the Frankenstein Template. Cut out all of the template pieces. (Cut the paper in half, the template has pattern pieces for two Frankenstein plush crafts.)
Select different colored felt fabrics for the Frankenstein plush. The template includes a base, head, hair, ears, bolts, trousers, shirt, jacket, shoes and arms. Trace the pattern templates onto the chosen pieces of felt. Cut out all of the traced pieces.
Take the head cutout and use a gel pen or marker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth onto the head of the felt Frankenstein face. Prepare needle with black thread.
Use the black thread to stitch along the drawn eyes, nose and mouth.
Place the shoe cutouts on the bottom part of the base cutout.
Stitch the shoes to the base, stitching only around the side edges and bottom of the shoes..
Place the jacket cutout above the shoes, on the base cutout.
Now, place the trouser cutout on the bottom edge of the jacket cutout.
Also place the shirt cutout down the middle of the jacket as shown below.
Now, carefully pick up the three pieces, just as they were placed.
Stitch the clothing pieces together.
Once stitched together, place the clothing pieces back on the base again and stitch them to the base just along the sides.
Keep the top end open for now.
Place the hair cutout on the top side of the head pattern.
Place the ear and bolt cutouts on both sides of the head part of the base. See below for correct placement.
Place the head piece on the head part of the base, keeping the ear and bolt cutouts between the head and base layers.
Stitch around the sides and top of the head to connect it to the base.
Keep the bottom side open for stuffing.
Use cotton to stuff the felt Frankenstein plush.
Overlap the bottom side of the head and the top side of the jacket. Close the open edge by stitching the overlapped parts together.
Stitch the arm cutouts on both sides of Frankenstein’s body.
