My kids are obsessed with adorable Grogu in his pod. This popsicle stick Grogu in pod craft makes a great puppet!
Don’t forget to make a matching Mandalorian to go with him! Or, if you’d prefer to make a Grogu puppet without the pod, then try this Baby Yoda puppet craft too.
How to make a Puppet Baby Yoda in Pod Craft
- Colored craft papers
- Popsicle stick
- Marker or gel pen
- Craft glue
Print out the Grogu in Pod template, then cut out all of the template pieces.
Gather your colored papers. You’ll want a green craft paper for Grogu’s head, pink paper for the inner ears, brown paper for the clothes, and 2 different shades of grey papers for the pod pattern.
Trace and cut out the template patterns on the colored craft papers as shown below.
Glue the inner ear pieces on the head, in the middle of the ears.
Glue the collar on top of the robe.
Glue the head on top of Grogu’s body.
Use a black marker or gel pen to draw details on Grogu’s face.
Glue the 2 rounded rectangle pieces on both sides of the full circle piece.
Glue the other rectangle on the half circle piece.
Glue the half circle onto the full circle piece, applying glue only around the outside edges of the half circle.
Use a marker or gel pen to draw outlines onto the pod to give it a finished look.
Insert Grogu into his pod. Add glue to hold him in place, if you would like.
Attach the pod onto a popsicle stick to complete the Grogu craft.
