How to Make a Hatching Dino Craft
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Craft glue
- Markers
- Popsicle sticks
- Brad pin
- Printed template
Instructions:
Download and print out the hatching dinosaur template. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select colored craft papers and trace the patterns on them using a pencil. Cut out the traced patterns using scissors.
Glue the spot cutouts to the bottom portion of the eggshell.
Turn the spotted eggshell to the back and apply glue around the outside curved edge.

Attach the belly cutout to front edge of the lower body cutout.
Attach the body scale cutout to the back edge of the lower body cutout.
Attach the head to the top edge of the body.
Attach the arm cutouts and the eye to the dinosaur.
Use a marker or gel pen to draw the nose onto the baby dinosaur.
Cut a small notch to make the baby dinosaur’s mouth. Or, simply draw a mouth onto the dinosaur with a marker.
Use a marker to add an iris to the dinosaur’s eye, then glue the eye onto the dinosaur’s head.
Open the top part of the paper egg. Insert the papercraft dinosaur inside the egg pocket.
