Materials:

  • Toilet Paper Roll
  • Wiggle Eyes
  • Brown Chenille Stem
  • Colored Cardstock – Tan & Pink
  • Black Marker
  • Craft Glue or a Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
  • Brown Craft Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors
  • Pencil with new eraser
  • Printed Monkey Pattern

Instructions:

Download and print out the monkey pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.

Paint the toilet paper roll with brown craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.

Use washable markers, crayon, or even colored pencil to color the cardboard if you prefer.

Trace the outer ears, hair, muzzle, and tummy onto tan colored paper, the inner ears onto pink colored paper with a pencil.

Cut out all the traced patterns with scissors, cutting inside the lines to create a clean finished project.

Glue the muzzle and tummy to the monkey.

Glue the hair to the top inside edge of the tube.
