How to Make a Felt Unicorn Corner Bookmark
List of Supplies:
- Felt fabrics
- Fabric marker or chalk
- A pair of scissors
- Needle
- Matching threads
- Printed template
Instructions:
Download and print out the unicorn bookmark template.
Select different colored felt fabrics for the unicorn pattern.
Trace the patterns on the selected felt fabrics and cut out the traced patterns using sharp scissors.
Place the inner ear cutouts on the ear parts of the head cutout.
Use matching thread to stitch the inner ear cutouts to the head cutout.
Place the small mane cutout on the bottom part of the big mane cutout
Place the horn cutout on the top edge of the head, just slightly overlapping the head at the top.
Place the mane on the top of the head, covering the bottom part of the horn.
Stitch along the top edge of the small mane and remember to stitch along the overlapped parts of all three pieces.
Place the mouth cutout on the bottom part of the head cutout.
Place the other bookmark base cutout behind the unicorn’s head.
Working running stitches, sew along the two straight sides of the unicorn’s head, connecting the back of the bookmark to the head.
