Are you ready to make the most adorable Llama Bookmark ever? This fun llama craft is perfect for your llama loving child or teen.

This llama hug bookmark will hug the pages of your favorite book to hold your spot for you.

How to make a Llama bookmark

Supplies:

  • Colored craft papers
  • Craft glue
  • Black marker
  • Embossed paper (optional)
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Template

Directions:

Print and cut out the pattern pieces of the llama bookmark craft template.

Choose a cardstock or embossed paper for the llama’s body and legs.

Choose pink and white papers for the llama’s features.

You can either use brown paper for the llama’s hooves, or simply fill the hoof areas in with a brown marker.

Use the eyes provided on the template, or draw your own llama eyes.

Glue the inner ear pieces onto the outer ear pieces.

Glue the ears onto the llama’s head.

Next glue the larger round circle onto the middle of the llama’s face.

Glue the cheek pieces onto the sides of the llama’s face.

Glue the eyes onto the llama’s face.

Use a black marker to draw the facial details as shown below.

Glue two of the leg pieces onto the bottom of the llama’s body.

Next, add glue at he llama’s shoulders shoulders, being sure to only place glue right at the edge of the arm so that your llama can “hug” the page of your favorite book.

Place the two arm pieces onto the glue at the llama’s shoulders, being sure that the arms create flaps to hold onto your book with.

Use scissors to trim the extra, outer edges of the llama’s arms.

Use a brown sharpie to fill the hoof parts of the legs (or glue brown paper hooves onto the llama. 

Now, you can use the llama craft as a bookmark by sliding a page under the arms. 

So cute!
