  • Empty toilet paper roll
  • A pair of scissors
  • A piece of thread
  • Craft glue
  • Pencil –  to trace the template
  • Markers
  • Shark Template

Instructions

Download and print out the shark template. Cut out all of the pattern pieces.

Select colored craft papers for the shark patterns. You can use the eye directly from the template.

Trace the body pattern on two different colors. We used blue and white.

Use the dark colored pattern for the top half and the light colored pattern for the bottom half of the shark.

Cover the toilet paper roll with the body papers.

Cut one side of the tube to make the mouth of the shark. Cut out a triangle from either side to create the mouth.

Flatten the opposite side of the tube and glue the tail fin in the middle of the tube.

Glue the top fin on the top of the tube as shown below.

Glue the bottom fin along the edge of the tube right where the two body papers meet.

Glue the eye cutout on to the shark’s body, near the mouth.

Glue the blush cutout below the eye.

Glue the teeth cutouts inside the shark’s mouth.

Glue a piece of thread or ribbon inside the sharks mouth. Glue, the fish onto the end of the thread.
