How to Make Woodland Animal Bookmarks
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Pencil – to trace the template
- Craft glue
- Marker or gel pen
- A pair of scissors
- Printed Pattern
Instructions:
Take a piece of square paper (15 cm x 15 cm) and fold it in half, diagonally.
Fold up the right bottom corner up to meet the top corner.
Similarly, fold up the left bottom corner.
Unfold the right and left folds.
Fold the top corner of the top layer so that it touches the bottom edge.
Fold up the right side and tuck in the corner inside the last fold, as shown below.
Crease the fold as shown below.
Similarly, fold up, tuck in and flatten the left side.
Download and print out the fox, deer, and hedgehog pattern.
Select different colored craft papers for the fox, hedgehog and deer patterns. Trace the template patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out nicely. We will continue the tutorial by showing how to compete the fox bookmark.
Attach the face on the bottom part of the head cutout.
Attach the ear cutouts on the top edge of the head cutout.
Use a marker or gel pen to draw the eyes and the nose onto the fox.
Attach the blush cutouts on both cheeks of the fox.
Take the origami corner bookmark.
Attach the fox face on the triangle side of the origami corner bookmark.
Allow the glue to dry, then use the bookmark by sliding a corner of a page into the open part.
