How to Make a French Fry Craft

  • Craft Felt – Red & Pink
  • Glitter Glue
  • Black Marke
  • Liquid Glue or Glue Gun and Glue Stick
  • Yellow Craft Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Scissors

Instructions:

To create the French fries, paint 10-12 jumbo craft sticks with yellow craft paint. Let dry, and apply a second coat, if necessary.

Using scissors, cut one of the rounded ends from each of the jumbo craft sticks.

Download, print, and cut out the French fry patterns.

Trace the fry carton patterns onto red craft felt.

Cut out the fry carton patterns with scissors. Make sure to cut inside the traced lines so you end up with a clean finished project.

Attach 4-5 craft sticks to the base of the fry carton with glue. Make sure that the cut end of the jumbo craft sticks are facing up.

We used a glue gun and glue sticks for this tutorial, but you can use liquid glue if you prefer.

Glue a second and third layer of craft stick French fries in a random manner on top of the first layer of fries.

Attach the top of the fry carton to the base, using a glue.

Apply clear glitter glue to each one of the French fries and spread it out over the surface of the craft sticks with a paintbrush. The glitter becomes the salt.

Attach two wiggle eyes with glue. Cut out two circles from pink craft felt and glue to either side of the eyes for the cheeks.

To finish, outline the hot dog bun with a brown marker.
