How to make a fox craft
Supplies:
- Colored paper
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Template
Directions:
Print out the fox template and cut the pieces out. Choose orange and white (or cream) papers for the fox craft. Trace the fox’s head, body, legs and tail on the orange paper. Then trace the rest of the patters on a white sheet of paper. Use a light pink or orange for the tiny triangles for the fox’s ear.
Cut out all of the pieces.
Glue the white tail tip on the end of the orange tail cutout. Next, glue the white face cutout to the bottom of the fox’s orange face. Also, glue the white stomach onto the orange fox body. (See photo below for exact placement.)
Glue the fox’s head on the top of the body, then glue the arms onto the fox’s body. Only glue at the very top of the arms, so you can slip the heart under the arms later.
Use scissors to trim the sides of the glued legs on both sides of the fox’s body.
Glue the tail on the back of the fox, as shown below. Use a marker to draw the eyes and nose of the fox.
Cut a small heart shape from a colored paper you like. Slide the heart shape under the fox’s arms to complete your fox.
It’s so cute isn’t it! Now you can use the paper fox as is, or paste it on a popsicle stick as a puppet, add a magnet to the back and display it on the refrigerator, or even paste it on the front of a card.
