How to Make a Valentine’s Day Gnome Garland

Download and print out the gnome garland pattern. Cut out all of the pattern pieces.

Select different colored craft papers for the Valentine’s Day gnome garland.

We’re using different shades of pink and red for this craft to give it a Valentine look.

Trace the template patterns on the selected colored craft papers and cut out the traced pieces.

Let’s make the girl gnome first. Glue the braid cutouts at the bottom edge, on both sides of the hat cutout.

Glue the head cutout along the bottom edge of the hat cutout.

Attach the nose cutout in the middle of the head piece, overlapping the edge between the hat and the gnome’s face.

Attach the head on the top edge of the body piece to complete the girl gnome.

Use markers or gel pens to add a heart or any other details to the gnome’s hat and body if you’d like.

Let’s make the boy gnome next.

Glue the nose cutout on the top edge of the beard cutout.

Glue the hat cutout on the top edge of the beard piece.

Attach the head to the top edge of the gnome’s body.

Use marker or gel pens to add hearts or other details to the gnome.

Continue making boy and girl Valentine gnomes until you have enough for your garland.

Glue or tape the heart cutouts and gnome crafts to a ribbon or string alternating gnomes and hearts to create your garland.
