Easiest Easter Egg Dying Method Ever!

It wouldn’t be Easter without dying Easter eggs! My kids start asking to dye eggs as soon as they see Easter candy on the grocery store shelves.

There are so many ways to dye Easter Eggs- in fact here are 15 more fun methods to try! There is absolutely no need to buy an Easter Egg dying kits with so many fun methods to try with your kids.

Today I’m sharing one of my favorite Easter egg dying methods. It is my favorite because this Easter egg dying method is the absolutely easiest! Plus, you likely already have all the supplies you need at home, which makes it even better!

So, if you are looking for an easy Easter egg dying method, this one is definitely the one for you!

How to Dye Easter Eggs using Coffee Filters

Supplies:

  • Hardboiled Eggs
  • Coffee Filters
  • Washable Markers
  • Rubber Bands
  • Spray Bottle with Water

Directions:

Fold one coffee filter in half and color different colors around the filter. Make sure to press hard so it bleeds through to the other side.  Repeat step with other colors.

Open filter up and place one hardboiled egg in the middle. Wrap the coffee filter around the egg and tie off with a rubber band.

Place wrapped eggs on a paper plate and squirt each egg with water until it is completely wet. Don’t add to much water, just add enough where it is wet but not soaked. 

Place in fridge for about 20-25 minutes.

Take out and unwrap each egg to reveal its pretty pattern.

So easy! Right!?
