Make an Empty Tomb Craft for Easter

Supplies:

  • Colored craft papers
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue
  • Markers
  • Paper plate
  • Printed template

Instructions:

Step 1:

Download, print and cut out the template patterns.

The template includes patterns for an angel and an empty tomb. Select colored craft papers for each pattern and trace them using a pencil. Use scissors to cut out the traced patterns.

Glue the smaller part of the tomb to the front of the bigger part.

Glue the two stone steps together.

Attach the opening to the middle of the tomb at the bottom edge.

Attach the stone steps to the bottom edge of the tomb opening.

Glue the stone door to one side of the opening.

Take the angel cutouts and attach the hand cutout to the open edge of the sleeve.

Attach the hair cutout to the head cutout.

Attach the head to the top edge of the angel’s robe.

Glue the wing cutout to the back side of the robe to complete the angel.

Take a paper plate and select green and blue colored craft papers. Cut the peices to fit one half of the paper plate.

Use the blue paper for the sky and the green paper for the grass or hill.

You can also paint or color the paper plate instead of using craft papers if you prefer.

Glue the empty tomb and the angel to the paper plate.
