How to make a S’mores Ice Cream Float:

Supplies and Ingredients:

Choose your ice cream float glasses. Any large glass will do. You can also choose old fashioned soda shop glasses, large jar mugs or even wide mouth quart mason jars.

You’ll want to buy s’mores flavored ice cream if possible. It’s pretty easy to find in most grocery stores all summer long.

If you are really craving this S’mores Ice Cream Float but can’t find s’mores ice cream you can use vanilla or chocolate ice cream instead. You’ll be adding delicious s’mores flavor with your toppings anyway.

You’ll be using cream soda for the liquid in your s’mores ice cream float. Choose your favorite brand.

Next, assemble all the s’mores float toppings. You’ll want marshmallows, hot fudge sauce, chocolate bars, and graham crackers. You can also use ready made marshmallow topping.

Directions:

Prepare the ice cream float toppings first.

Toast several marshmallows. There are several options for toasting marshmallows indoors. You can place marshmallows on a baking sheet and broil them in the oven until they turn golden brown. This will happen very quickly, so keep an eye on the marshmallows the entire time! Or use a kitchen torch to lightly brown the marshmallows.

If you don’t want to toast your marshmallows, you can try these amazing toasted vanilla marshmallows in your ice cream float.

Once the marshmallows are browned, place 2 or 3 toasted marshmallows on a wooden skewer for each ice cream float.

Crush several graham crackers and place them in a shallow dish.

Next prepare the glasses.

Place the hot fudge in a shallow dish and dip the edges of each float glass into the fudge.

Dip the fudge covered glass into the crushed graham crackers.

Add several scoops of s’mores ice cream to each glass.

Pour cream soda in each glass, over the ice cream scoops.

Finally add the toppings. Place a wooden skewer with toasted marshmallows in each glass. Then add a graham cracker rectangle and a piece of chocolate. You can also drizzle marshmallow topping over the float if you like.

Delicious, isn’t it!?
