How to Make a Clara Christmas Ornament
List of Supplies:
- Colored felt fabrics
- Pencil
- Needle
- Matching thread
- Ribbon
- Cotton
- A pair of scissors
- Black marker
Instructions:
Download and print out the Clara ornament pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select colored felt fabrics and trace the patterns on the selected fabrics. Use scissors to cut out the traced patterns.
Place the blush spots on Clara’s face.
Place the small round cutout in the middle of the bow cutout.
Place the short strip cutout along the middle of the dress cutout.
Place the bow on the top edge of the hair cutout.
Stitch the bow to the hair, blush spots to the head, and the dress belt to the dress cutout.
Place the head on the hair cutout. Stitch around the sides and top of the face.
Place the dress border piece at the bottom edge of the dress.
Use a black marker to draw the felt Clara figure’s eyes, nose, and mouth.
Or, use black thread to stitch the details onto Clara’s face.
Place the shoe cutouts along the bottom edge of the base cutout.
Place the dress on the ornament base.
Place the head onto the ornament base, overlapping the top edge of the dress.
Stitch around the edges of the ornament, leaving a small hole for stuffing.
Stuff the ornament, then close the opening with a few stitches.
