How to Make an Earth Day Banner

Supplies:
- Colored cardstock papers
- Pencil
- Craft glue
- A pair of scissors
- Markers
- String or yarn
- Printed Earth Day template.
Instructions:
Download and print out the Earth Day Banner template. Cut out the pattern pieces.
Select light-weight colored cardstock papers or thick craft papers for the patterns. The template includes patterns for the Earth, recycling symbols, trees, seedlings, and hearts.
Trace the template patterns on the selected papers and cut them out using scissors.
Take the seedling pattern cutouts and glue the green cutouts together.
Glue the green pattern (seedling) with the soil cutout, on the top-round side.
Glue the arrow signs around the side of the round base to make the recycling symbol.
Glue the green part of the tree pattern on the top side of the trunk cutout.
Take the heart cutouts and use matching markers to trace outlines on them.
Use matching markers to trace outlines on the rest of the crafted paper items too.
Glue the green parts of the Earth on the blue base and then glue the eyes. Use a black marker to draw the mouth on to the Earth.
Measure and cut out a string for the garland.
Attach the papercraft items with the string on the back sides.
Once you’re done attaching enough papercraft items on the string, turn it to the right side and hang it on a wall.
