Reindeer Bookmark Craft

Make this festive reindeer bookmark with your kids this Christmas season!

This cute reindeer craft is super easy to make thanks to the printable template and easy tutorial you’ll find below.

There are three ways you can make this reindeer bookmark craft.

The first option is the most involved and the one you’ll find instructions and photos for below. With this option you’ll print out a reindeer bookmark template, cut out the pieces and use them as a pattern to cut out the bookmark pieces from colored papers.

The second option is to print out the full color reindeer bookmark template, cut out all the pieces, and then follow the directions below to glue the bookmark together.

The third option is to print out the black and white template and color the pattern pieces before cutting them out to glue the bookmark together.

How to make a Reindeer Bookmark

Supplies:

Colored craft papers
Pencil
Scissors
Marker or Pens
Glue
Template

Instructions:

Print out either the black and white reindeer bookmark template, or the full color reindeer bookmark craft sheet.

Cut out all of the pattern pieces.

If you’ve chosen to make your reindeer bookmark out of colored papers, trace the template on the colors you’ve chosen, then cut out all of the pieces.

Alternately, print out the black and white template and color the pieces before cutting them out.

O, print out the full color reindeer pattern sheet and cut the pieces out.

Now that all of your reindeer pieces are cut out, glue the reindeer’s eyes to the rectangle piece as shown below.

Then glue the reindeer’s mouth and nose on to the oval piece of paper, then glue the oval to the bookmark.

Glue the reindeer’s ears at the top of the bookmark.

Then glue reindeer’s antlers on top of his head, between the ears.

Then glue the front legs on the front of the bookmark, placing glue in a thin line, just at the top of the legs (this way your reindeer can “hug” a book page to keep your spot).
