Superhero Craft – DIY Puppets

Crafts for Kids

Looking for a fun superhero craft for your kids? These fun superhero puppets will allow your kids to create Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, and Robin puppets. Simply print out the free template, grab some popsicle sticks, construction paper, and glue.

Superhero crafts are all the rage in my house right now. These adorable Superhero puppets are a huge hit with my kids, and I know they will be a hit with yours as well!

This fun superhero craft will keep your kids busy for hours. First they’ll create puppets, and then they will want to act out their favorite superhero adventures.

These superhero puppets include DC comics superhero characters. If your kids are fans of the Avengers, be sure to check out this Avengers Superhero craft too.

Superhero Craft – DIY Puppets

Supplies:

  • Colored paper (construction paper or cardstock)
  • Popsicle sticks
  • Black sharpie
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Craft glue

Printable Templates:

  • Wonder Woman & Batman
  • Robin & Flash
  • Superman & Green Lantern

Instructions:

Let’s start the craft with the Wonder Woman puppet. Select cream, blue, red, yellow and black craft papers for the Wonder Woman craft. Trace the patterns on the colored papers as noted with each pattern. 

Cut a slit along the marked yellow line on the hair pattern. 

Insert the head part of the puppet base through the slit from the bottom side of the hair pattern. Apply glue on the back side to attach the paper hair pattern with the puppet base. 

Attach the boots, skirt and top patterns on the Wonder Woman puppet base. 

Attach the crown on the hair part of the puppet.

Attach the rest of the patterns on the puppet to complete the Wonder Woman craft. Use a black sharpie to draw the eyes, nose and mouth of the puppet. 

Attach the Wonder Woman puppet on a popsicle stick. 

Now, create the rest of the DC Superhero characters.

Adorable, aren’t they? Now sit back and watch your kids play with their puppets.

    where is the template? I downloaded it from another site and it was just the instructions.
