How to make a superman paper craft
Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Craft glue
- Marker
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Template
Instructions:
Print out the superman template and cut out all of the pattern pieces.
Select a colored craft paper for the skin tone of the Superman puppet and then select blue, red, black and yellow colored craft papers for the rest of the patterns. Trace the body base and arm patterns on blue colored paper; trace the belt and logo base on yellow colored paper; trace the cape, shoes and pant patterns on red colored craft paper; and trace the head and hand patterns on the paper selected for the skin and the hair pattern on black or dark brown paper. Cut out the traced patterns using scissors.
Glue the hand cutouts onto the arm cutouts and the shoe cutouts on the bottom of the legs.
Cut a slit along the yellow line inside the hair pattern; slide the top end of the head cutout under the slit and add glue to attach the hair pattern with the head cutout.
Attach the belt and the pant pattern cutouts on the body piece.
Trim the both sides of the belt and the pant pieces if necessary. Attach the arm pieces on both sides of the body piece.
Attach the arm pieces on both sides of the body and then attach the head on the top of the body.
Attach the cape on the back of the Superman figure and then use a black marker to draw the eyes, nose and mouth onto Superman to complete the craft.
Now Superman is finished and ready to save the day!
