How to make a toilet paper roll astronaut craft
List of Supplies:
- Colored craft papers
- Cardstock paper
- Craft glue
- Marker
- Scissors
- Pencil
- Toilet Paper Roll
- Template
Instructions:
Download and print out the astronaut template. Cut out all of the pattern pieces. Trace the template patterns on colored craft papers using pencil and cut them out with scissors.
Attach the hair cutout on the head cutout.
Use marker to draw the eyes on the eye cutouts.
Attach the ear parts on both sides of the helmet cutout.
and attach the 3rd small round cutout on the top edge of the helmet.
Attach the helmet glass cutout in the center of the helmet.
Attach the eye cutouts on the head, just below the hair.
Use a marker to draw the nose and mouth on to the astronaut’s face and to trace outlines on the helmet.
Attach the head onto the glass part of the helmet.
Prepare a piece of construction paper to cover the outer surface of the empty toilet paper roll.
Attach the collar piece and the two triangle cutouts on to the prepared paper.
Attach the boot cutouts on the bottom edge of the prepared paperand attach the square cutout in the middle of the suit base. Use markers to draw buttons on the square piece.
Cover the empty toilet paper roll with the astronaut’s suit. Secure the edges with glue.
Attach the astronaut head on the top edge of the paper covered toilet paper roll to complete the craft.
Use markers or scrap paper cutouts to add more details if you want to.
