- Colored craft papers
- Cardstock paper
- Brad pin
- Paper plate
- Template
- Craft glue
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
Download and print out the template patterns. Cut out the pattern pieces. Select colored craft papers for the Yoshi craft.
Trace the patterns on the selected craft papers and cut them out.

Take the lower body and the belly cutout. Glue the belly cutout to the front part of the lower body.

Take the head, cheek and the eye cutouts.
Glue the white eyes to the eye part of the head cutout.
Glue the cheek cutout to the cheek part of the head cutout.

Glue the scale cutout to the back edge of the head cutout.

Glue the head to the top side of the lower body piece.

Glue the shoe cutouts to the bottom edge of the lower body piece.

Use markers to draw the face unto Yoshi.

Take a paper plate of your choice and cut it into an egg shape.

Use green marker to draw the egg spots on the paper plate egg.

Use the egg shaped paper plate to trace and cut out an egg shape from construction paper or cardstock.
Cut a zigzag line along the middle part of the paper plate egg as shown below.

Glue the lower part of the paper plate egg cutout to the lower part of the cardstock egg cutout.

Place the upper part of the paper plate egg cutout on the upper part of the cardstock egg cutout and select a brad pin.

Create a hole through the bottom, left corner of the upper egg piece.
