How to Make a Hocus Pocus Garland

Supplies:

• Thick white paper or cardstock paper
• Different colored craft papers
• Pencil 
• A pair of scissors
• Craft glue
• Markers
• String or yarn
• Printed Template

Instructions:

Download and print out the Hocus Pocus Garland Pattern. Cut out the pattern pieces.

Print and cut out the template patterns and select different colored craft papers for the Hocus Pocus garland items.

Trace the patterns on the selected papers using a pencil and use scissors to cut out the traced pieces.

Attach the hair cutouts to the top edge of the head cutouts for the Sanderson sisters.

Attach the hat-band cutout to the hat cutout.

Take the cat pattern cutouts and attach the eye cutouts to the head.

Attach the head to the top edge of the body cutout.

Use the black marker to draw the eyes on the yellow eye pieces and attach the tail cutout to one side of the body piece.

Use an x-acto knife, or pair of scissors to cut a slit along the top edge of the cauldron.

Insert the bottom edge of the potion cutout through the cauldron’s slit. Use glue to attach the potion to the cauldron.

Craft more than one of each item if you want a longer garland, or more garland pieces.

Use markers to add patterns and borders to the items.

Prepare a string or yarn, long enough to make a garland.

Attach the back side of the papercraft items onto the string. You can use white glue or clear tape to attach the items to the string.

Carefully turn the string to the right side. Craft another garland or two if you’d like.
