Mrs. Claus Gnome Ornament for Christmas

How to make a Mrs. Claus Gnome Ornament
List of Supplies:
- Felt fabrics
- Matching thread
- Needle
- Pencil
- A pair of scissors
- Ribbon
- Cotton batting
- Template
Instructions:
Select colored felt fabrics for the Mrs. Claus ornament. Download and print out the template page. Cut out the patterns.
Trace the patterns on the selected felts and cut them out.
Place the hat border along the bottom edge of the hat cutout.
Place the nose cutout on the top edge of the face cutout and then place the face cutout on the top edge of the dress cutout.
Take the base cutout and place the dress, face, and nose on the base.
Place the braid cutouts on either side of the head.
Now, cover the top edge of the head with the bottom edge of the hat by placing it on the hat part of the base.
Place the patterns on the base so they line up neatly with the edges.
Next, carefully remove the stack from the base as they were placed.
Use white thread to stitch the bottom edge of the hat through the rest of the pieces of Mrs. Claus, securing all the pieces of Mrs. Claus together.
This is the front part of the ornament.
Now, place the front of the Mrs. Claus ornament on the base cutout.
Use matching thread to sew the base and front together around the sides- leaving a small opening for stuffing.
Stuff Mrs. Claus with cotton batting and then close the opening with thread when you’re done stuffing.
Tie a knot or two and then cut off extra thread.
Stitch the shoe cutouts on the bottom edge of Mrs. Claus’ dress and stitch the round pompom shape onto the tip of the hat.
Cut out a small piece of ribbon and make a loop with it.
Sew the ribbon loop on the back of the Mrs. Claus gnome to complete the gnome ornament craft.
Now that Mrs. Claus is finished, be sure to make Mr. Claus too!
