Turtle Bookmark Craft

This turtle bookmark is the cutest little turtle craft for kids! Corner bookmarks are always a favorite with kids. They love crafting the origami corner bookmark, then adding a fun design.

Kids will love learning how to make this adorable turtle corner bookmark! Your child can customize the colors to create their own creative turtle bookmark.

How to make a turtle corner bookmark.

Supplies:

Colored craft papers
Marker
Craft glue
Pencil
Scissors
Template

Instructions:

Print the turtle bookmark template and cut out all of the pattern pieces.

Select colored craft papers for the turtle bookmark. You can see a few color options below, but feel free to choose any combination of colors that you desire!

Trace the template patterns on the chosen craft papers and cut them out.

Attach the shell spots onto the shell cutout.

Attach the front leg cutouts just under the bottom edge of the shell piece. See below for correct placement.

Take the bottom part of the shell and apply glue along the straight side of the bottom shell.

Attach the glued side of the bottom shell under the bottom edge of the top shell.

Attach the head cutout in the middle of the upper shell piece.

Use a marker or gel pen to draw the face of the turtle.

Once you’ve created the corner bookmark, attach turtle to the bookmark. You’ll want to glue the turtle’s body to the front of the triangle pocket created by the origami folding.
